While I am a new user and I will stop the subscription, I agree, the support copy/pastes the same message without reading the actual issue. Mine is related to the static IP routes set up which I tried by following their article. Initially, my SmartTV would load Netflix US, but the laptop did. They said they have server maintenance...sure. I unplugged the TV, apparently, that's a full reset, and let them know about the solution. The next day the SmartTV stopped working again and I noticed the proxy article related to this, while I tried setting it up, my router is not on the lists and their general guidelines don't work. I wrote, told them about the issue, and ask if they ever helped set up my router model, they reply with a generic answer pointing to the proxy article. I get back and tell them the DNS setup in the router works, windows and android are accessing Netflix US and retell them I need help setting up the static IP routes. Their reply is that some newer Samsung/LG TVs are having this issue and have no ETA on a fix. Just gave up and told them they should state this for users on their website. The static IP instructions are not updated since 2017, they could've said from the start it doesn't work, while we had about 8 email exchanges where I stressed the TV is the issue and I understand I need to set up the static IP, but have no idea how on my router. Basically, they probably got bored, have no idea, so they shoved another template that these TVs don't work. If you don't plan to use the TV, it does work on windows and mobile, but why sit with a laptop in my lap when I have a big screen on the wall? For me it's worthless.
